FLUOROSEAL® coatings have even been proven to perform as protective coating in outer space satellites where extreme cold to extreme hot applications are the norm.
Cedar sidings, wooden signs, and painted structures are known to become blackened and discoloration within just a few years. FLUOROSEAL® offers a transparent coating with the ability to block UV, moisture, and corrosive gases, which can easily extend the beauty of these painted wooden structures by 30-50 years.
In the case of virgin cedar and other wood structure, a thin transparent coating of FLUOROSEAL®, just 10-20 microns, can be used in place of traditional stains to provide protection against moisture, water, and UV penetration. FLUOROSEAL® transparent UV protective coatings are compatible with almost all acrylic, polyurethane, epoxy, FEVE and PVDF-based paints and stains and can be directly applied.
